The French event for lovers of Geek culture is coming to the capital of the Hauts de France for an edition that aims to attract more than 30,000 visitors! A wide range of themes will be covered: video games, cosplay, comics, manga, web culture and science fiction will all be on show in the hall of Lille Grand Palais. Visitors will be able to take part in a wide range of events, visit exhibitors’ stands and meet a panel of exclusive guests at public conferences, signing sessions and photoshoots.
Geek Days Lille has divided the Geek Days universe into four distinct zones:
Imaginary World
In this zone, you’ll plunge into the imaginary world of the great cinema icons, such as Harry Potter, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and many others. You’ll have the chance to visit areas dedicated to Star Wars, Marvel and Transformers. There will also be stalls selling board games, and you can take part in role-playing and board games.
You’ll be able to meet famous actors and dubbing actors who have worked on major films and series.
Creative Corner
The Creative Corner is the corner that brings together all the creative and offbeat minds at the show: paintings, figurines, photos… Come and enjoy their artistic vision and wander through all these stands and, at the same time, buy the works that interest you.
Virtual Zone
The Virtual Zone is a gamer’s paradise: take part in tournaments for cult video games such as FIFA, Super Smash Bros Ultimate and many others. Meet your favourite youtubers and streamers in a different setting, take them on at video games, arcade terminals or get your goodies signed. You can also try your hand at virtual reality, or go back to your childhood with some retrogaming. If you dream of becoming a 3D animator, graphic designer or even video game creator, some of the leading 3D animation schools will be on hand!
Heart Of Asia
Come and discover Asian culture through manga and anime, as well as Japanese groceries, katanas and Korean swords. You can also immerse yourself in the famous Japanese video games and manga, from Pokemon to Dragon Ball Z and Demon Slayer… You can also take part in the adventure of the cosplay competition by taking to the stage in your best costume and sharing your passion with the public.
