Louis Pasteur Theater
Following the success of “Season 1 – Episode 1,” his first show, Urbain is touring France with his new jokes (because he’s sick of performing them only for Parisian vapers on scooters.)
“The Benevolent Jerk” is the name of the new show. Or, in other words, “How to Try to Stay Nice in a World That Pisses You Off Every 5 Seconds.” If you, too, even when you try with all your might to be nice, always end up blurting out something nasty out loud, then this show is for you. And if you just can’t help yourself and regret it afterward—but not really that much—then this show is also for you.
Other good reasons to come:
● “You’ve got 20 bucks to spare”
● “You have to spend an hour with someone and you don’t feel like talking to them”
● “You scrolled through your phone for 7 hours last night and any other way to spend your time seems smart”
> Did you know?
Urbain—that could be a good stage name, but it’s actually his real first name. That’s already a bad start. You’ve probably already seen or heard him: on one of his six podcasts, at the Montreux Festival, in tons of Topito sketches, on Nova, on Clique, in comedy clubs all over France… Or at a bar counter shouting nonsense. Yeah, probably there, actually.
